We achieved our goal of £7,000 within the first 5 days of the campaign which is absolutely amazing! This means we can 100% bring our project to life, and send the first 2 books in the series into production! YAY!
However we still have 10 days, which is more than enough time to try and overfund! Any amount extra we raise, will go towards us putting the next book in the series into production.
Since we fully funded I have been working relentlessly by contacting hundreds of different people via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Email to explain the concept to them and encourage them to pledge. I’ve learned that this isn’t the way my target market is comfortable shopping for the most part, and also that people think that now we are fully funded; there is nothing left for them to contribute to. But this isn’t correct.
Kickstarter campaigns don’t pay out unless you fully fund your original goal – but there is no limit to how much you can raise. We only have until April 5th 2021 at 10am to raise as much as we possibly can and so I’d urge you to pledge and purchase a book if you can, and share if you can’t!
